OMEGA sQUIRES
Definition of sQuire: A young man of noble birth who aspired to enter the knighthood through commitment and service to the Knights of the Round table.

Qualifications of Membership
All student/members must possess strong potential for leadership qualities with consistency in school as well as in the community. All student/members will learn Roberts’s rules when in association business meetings as well as professionalism at any functions of the association. All student/members must attain an above average GPA; for those members who cannot meet these standards, they will be put under probation until grades improve. All student/members will be expected to take corrective criticism as well direction from governing body officials and association officers. Furthermore, all student/members will also be expected to participate in all community activities that are scheduled by the association and/or governing body. All of these qualifications will be enforced and followed to its entirety.
Program Descriptions
This program develops foundational leadership and life skills to aid young men in achieving success in their lives and aids the participants in achieving their goals for the future. Those involved will begin to formulate a self-concept that will promote positive interactions between themselves and the families, schools, work places, and communities they belong to. The program focuses on developing professional skills, devotion to community involvement and activism, as well as social skills. Students will extend their self-understanding and the basic assumptions that guide their actions while promoting high academic standards within the school community, and understand the complexities of entering manhood. Participants will be taught leadership skills and challenged to demonstrate these skills with their peer groups. They will manifest a determination to community involvement through various exercises and opportunities to serve others. Students will engage in workshops geared toward professionalism and economic consciousness and utilize those skills attained in monitored volunteer work and internships. To combat health afflictions typical with the targeted demographic of student, the young men will also be educated on fitness as well as sexual responsibility based on the simple theme of self-respect and preservation.
Outcomes
Omega sQuires Program: The program develops the knowledge, attitudes, and performances needed for effective leadership and life skills. We continually focus on matters of guidance and mentoring the creation of powerful young men that value and support themselves and the world they are a part of.
Participants will develop:
1.Knowledge of Leadership and Academic skills by facilitating the development, articulation, implementation, and stewardship of a vision of learning and leading to promote the success of themselves and shared and supported by their school community.
2.Knowledge of Professional Etiquette and Economic Maintenance by experiencing management of the organization, operations, and resources for a stable, efficient and effective economic future.
3.Knowledge of Community Responsibility by collaborating with non-profit organization, school clubs and organizations, church groups, and community members to respond to diverse interest and needs.
4.Knowledge of Health and Fitness by advocating, nurturing, and sustaining a culture of diet and exercise coupled with sexual responsibility through thoughtful and educated decision-making.
